Where can I buy a ticket?
 

You can buy a ticket at the Stranger Ticketing, our online ticketing vendor.

Are there weekend pass options?

​

To purchase an adult weekend festival pass, it will be $75. For a student or senior citizen (62+ years old)  weekend pass, it will be $55. An awesome perk for the SDFF weekend pass holders is the opportunity to attend the Friday Opening Night Reception without any additional charges!

Is there a group discount?

​

We do not offer a group discount this time.

How much is an individual film program screening ticket?

​

For adults, an individual ticket will be $11 per person plus a Stranger Ticketing service fee. For students and senior citizens, an individual ticket will be $8 plus service fee. To be eligible as a senior citizen, you must be 62 years old or older.

Did you know that the Seattle Deaf Film Festival will have two receptions this weekend?

​

On Friday, there will be an Opening Night Reception with a nautical theme, fun photos by Valdies Czikan with fun props, and it will be only $10 each person to benefit Deaf Spotlight's ongoing programs. Free appetizers and non-alcoholic drinks will be offered at the reception. Alcoholic drink tickets will be available at the door for additional charges. The signing bartender, Lacey Pierce, will be there, too, to serve and mix awesome drinks. We encourage you to dress up in nautical-inspired clothing. There is no charge for all weekend pass holders to attend the Opening Night Reception. 

 

Sunday's Closing Night Gathering is sponsored by Abused Deaf Women's Advocacy Services (ADWAS) to conclude the festival and is free to public. 

How long will a film screening lasts?

Each program will last around one hour and half.

Where can I park my vehicle?

 

a) â€‹We always encourage you to use the environment-friendly options: public transportation and carpooling.

 

b) Metered street and parking lot are available until 8 PM throughout the neighborhood. After 8 PM, lots may close or become free. These lots are not associated with Deaf Spotlight and have varying rates and hours please check for all associated costs or rules for these locations.

Is food and drinks available at the movie theatre?

​

Yes, you can purchase snacks and drinks from the NWFF concession stand. In turn, we ask you to help cleaning the theater afterwards for the next film screening.

I am not fluent in American Sign Language. Will I be able to attend?

​

Yes! All films will be subtitled in English regardless of spoken or signed dialogue. Panel and receptions will also have voice interpreters present should you feel overwhelmed.

Will there be any Q and A sessions with the filmmakers?

​

Yes, there will be two panels of directors who will explain their craft and answer questions from the audience. Be sure to purchase tickets for the Documentaries Program (2-4 pm) with four filmmakers and SDFF After Dark

(7-9 pm) with two filmmakers. Katie Roberts will lead both dialogues between the directors and audiences.
